How do I know you won't disappear or leave my project unfinished?
We understand that fear, it's more common than it should be in this industry. That's why we operate with clear contracts, defined schedules, and consistent communication from start to finish. How long does a backsplash installation take?
Most kitchen backsplashes are installed in 1–3 days: one day to set the tile, and a return visit to grout after the thinset cures, plus caulking and cleanup. Your kitchen stays usable the whole time: we protect your countertops, keep dust contained, and clean up daily. Full-height slab installations may run a little longer, and we'll give you the exact schedule up front.
Can you install a new backsplash over my existing tile?
Sometimes, but usually the right answer is to remove the old tile first. Tiling over tile adds thickness at your outlets and countertop edge and can hide problems in the wall behind it. We'll inspect during your consultation and give you an honest recommendation; if removal is the right call, we do it carefully with your countertops protected, because build it right, or build it twice.
How much does a kitchen backsplash cost?
Costs depend on the tile you choose, the square footage, and the complexity of the layout: a straight subway-tile run is very different from a herringbone mosaic or full-height slab. During your consultation, we measure your walls and provide straightforward pricing so you know exactly what to expect: no vague estimates, no surprise costs later. Will the grout stain or get grimy over time?
Not if it's chosen and sealed properly, and that's on us, not you. We recommend stain-resistant grout formulas and colors that suit how you cook, seal everything that needs sealing, and use clean caulk lines where tile meets countertop. You'll get simple care instructions at the walkthrough, and most backsplashes need nothing more than a wipe-down.
